El Canto del Loco was formed in Espanya in 1994 . The original members were Dani Martín i Iván Ganchegui and more people. Now are formated for Dani Martín, David Otero, Chema Ruiz and Carlos Gamón.
El Canto del Loco's first album was voted by an independent record company in 1995. Their second album, Estados de ánimo, became their first bestseller and it was nominated on MTV Europe Music Adwards.
El Canto del Loco play both rock and romanitc music. Some of their best-known songs are: Zapatillas, Personas, A contracorriente. The band has won a lot of prizes for their music and videos. They were nominated for a lot of MtV music awards and.
